This is a remote control application for Parrots new quadrocopter: the AR.Drone. Of course it is only useful if you already have the AR.Drone hardware from Parrot.

This app adds a few nice features for the Drone pilot.
If there was another feature to add, it would be to add French to the language selection.
I have 3 different Drone apps and I find this one the most reliable. This new version adds tracking of objects and having just tried it out, Im very impressed. It would be great if you could select a pattern on the screen to track instead of just the Drone colors but this is a great first step. I just had my drone following me around the park automatically as it tracked the outdoor hull. (I only have 1 drone) It would be interesting to see how this would work in a dogfight situation. Probably would not, but in some future version I could see the drones dogfighting each other. Ok in 10 versions from now perhaps.
This is the best AR Drone app that I have. It has many nice features like a Nav Data Log and I love that it takes pictures for me. Very stable, easy to configure and use. Get it and get the most from your AR Drone flights.
Actually implements many features parrot promised with their app for the AR 2.0
Travel mode and autonomous flight. Have yet to try these features but am impressed they have included them before parrot could.
Only thing missing, I would love to see some kind of automatic resettable flight time log to track total flight time between service or parts swap outs.
Some bad moments
Dont waste your $4.99! I bought 2 AR Drones and both were defective. I was never able to find one that worked even after returning them. Cheap! Now obviously this is more about the drone then this app but I will never get to use this app because there product is garbage. And forget about getting a refund from iTunes!!!!
No instructions on how to get app to work. Would like to get my money back but feel to embarrassed about buying it to do that.
AR.Free Flightを除いてカメラ機能がついているappは今一番新しいデバイス(4世代)じゃないとDRONEが上手く動かない。このappもIPHONE3Gでは上手く動かない。でipod touch(4世代)を買った。動作に不満はなくなったがカメラの機能だけで450円は高くない？
